Introduction

Christina Bailey is a founding board member of The Southside Alliance and a leader in historic preservation efforts.

Professional & Community Background

A native of Morgantown, Christina holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and Art History from WVU. She works as a professional organizer with Simplicities, based in Huntington’s Southside, and has taught dance at Huntington Dance Theatre for five years.

She has also served as secretary of The Alliance (2019–2024), on the board of Create Huntington, and as president of the Southside Neighborhood Organization.

Connection to Southside / The Alliance

Christina currently chairs the City of Huntington’s Historic Preservation Commission and is deeply involved in protecting the character of the Southside.
